"Christina Carlisle’s writing style is devilishly delightful and is reminiscent of such writers as Katie MacAlister and Mary Janice Davidson.  HUSBAND FOR HIRE is witty and entertaining from the first page to the last.  The characters are multifaceted and extremely engaging.  This is a story that anyone could conceive of actually happening and the entailing hilarity, mishaps and touching moments are equally believable in a storybook romance gone wacky kind of way.   Who would have thought a lawyer could have such a fun and caring side to him?

Readers looking for a dose of hilarity in the rocky road to romance are sure to find HUSBAND FOR HIRE a real treat. Christina Carlisle is an author to watch for her name is sure to show up on best seller lists soon.  This reader relishes the opportunity to chuckle over Carlisle’s future releases."

"starts out funny, but takes a serious twist"
Finally escaping a terrible marriage from a domineering husband, Cassie has moved on with her life and become a successful doctor. Only when her ex-husband Jack won't leave her alone, Cassie decides to hire an escort to pose as her new husband to Jacks wedding!

Her escort, Lee turns out to be hot, and someone she would consider dating after the fiasco of Jacks wedding is over. That's when she finds out he not only isn't an escort, he is going to be a working colleague of sorts!

HUSBAND FOR HIRE starts out funny with Cassie and Lee getting tossed into an instant relationship. Christina Carlisle did a wonderful job injecting humor into stressful situations and making Lee come across as a gentleman rather than someone out to use Cassie.

Christina Carlisle is a fearless author and has written a very interesting story that covers two different sort of novels. While I think HUSBAND FOR HIRE does an admirable job at making this work, I was disappointed that the humorous story I thought I was reading was lost when a courtroom drama took over.

Christina Carlisle's novel is a very enjoyable contemporary romance which will keep you turning the pages late into the night. The characters just bounce off the page and there is plenty of humour and scintillating sexual tension to ensure a good time for fans of contemporary romance everywhere.

The attraction between Cassie and Lee is immediate and explosive, as Cassie has a pretty quick fuse, and Lee takes great pleasure in lighting it. Their exchanges are at times funny and other times frustrating as they go from teasing to furious in the blink of an eye

An entertaining story, be sure to check out HUSBAND FOR HIRE
